June Mitten of the Month

June 1, 2010

We are starting to celebrate Elizabeth Zimmermann’s birthday a bit early. Our Mitten of the Month is the “Mitten’s for Next Winter” from her book “The Knitter’s Almanac”. It is a great mitten for a lot of reasons, but a few of them are: a simple yet fun 2-color pattern, adaptable to a wide variety of yarns, and a longish, wider cuff to prevent cold wrists. And, if you show us the previous month’s mittens, you can get the book and yarn for 10% off!
